Music teachers honored at convention

Washington State Music Teachers’ Association held their annual convention from June 21 to June 25 in Olympia.
WSMTA is part of the large MTNA, mainly an organization of independent music teachers.
Jane Campbell and Iris Ingram of Lake Stevens were honored for being active members of WSMTA for 30 years.
Adrienne DeGiorgi of Marysville, a student of Ingram, performed the flute at a convention honors recital as a result of a competition to receive this honor.
