First Heritage Bank hosted its First Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Snohomish Golf Course on September 10th, 2010.  All proceeds will go directly to the charity of the golfer’s or sponsor’s choice.  The charities that benefited included the Arlington Food Bank, Greater Everett Community Foundation, Snohomish Education Foundation, Snohomish Food Bank, Snohomish Senior Center, and Valley General Hospital Foundation.

“In this economic environment, when so many no-for-profit organizations are struggling to maintain donations, we wanted to help.” said Cathy Reines, CEO & President, “We at First Heritage were proud to be able to put this event together and make a difference in the communities we serve.”

First Heritage Bank has raised money each year for a variety of charities with the help of its employees, shareholders and customers through basket raffles, book drives, and various other events, but this was the first golf tournament the Bank has hosted.  “We are extremely grateful to the donors, sponsors and golfers who made this golf tournament a success and we look forward to continuing the tradition next year,” said the event’s chair, Sandy Bartel, Vice President of Shareholder Relations and Marketing.

The tournament sponsors included Broadway Grill, Dunston Bradley Industrial, Kool Change Printing, PLC Insurance, Puget Sound Energy, Smoots Development, Trust CC, Voiss Wood Products, Woodinville Whiskey, and Wyser Construction.  Kirtley-Cole, Affiliated Appraisers and GHB Insurance hosted golf teams.
