Auchu, former Dairy Queen manager passes away

Timothy Joseph Auchu, the former manager of the Lake Stevens Dairy Queen for over 20 years, passed away suddenly on March 8, 2012 in Everett.
Auchu was born in New York in 1958 and moved to the Seattle area 25 years ago.
Auchu positively impacted many lives during his career in Lake Stevens. He had a wonderful sense of customer service and was never short on smiles and laughs to pass around; always supportive and willing to lend a helping hand to those he knew.
After the fire that destroyed the Dairy Queen five years ago, he worked at the Cash and Carry in Everett where he again had a significant impact on customers and co-workers. He was an avid hockey fan and had played hockey for a number of years on a local team. He was a member of Gyro International Club for many years.
