Have you taken a look at our Lake Stevens School District Calendar recently?  Not only are important school dates at your fingertips, you will also find dates for the greater Lake Stevens Chamber and the City of Lake Stevens events all in one place. A couple of key dates coming up are November 3rd, General Election Day and the Southwest Annexation and November 13th, Celebrate Lake Stevens Annual Gala Dinner & Auction.

Concerning the upcoming General Election, the Chamber has endorsed the Southwest Annexation. To find out how the annexation could affect you, please refer to the City of Lake Stevens website. It’s the City’s goal to ensure that citizens are able to make an informed decision about annexation and a FAQ Sheet has been created and is available for you to view on line.  City staff and Council members are also available to host informal coffee hours with citizens and attend local neighborhood and small group meetings to provide additional information and to answer questions. I would like to personally invite you to “Celebrate Lake Stevens,” our annual Gala Dinner and Auction on Friday November 13th from 5:30-10:30 p.m. at Naval Station Everett. You don’t have to be a Chamber member to attend. Join us in celebrating Lake Stevens and honoring our community members for their contributions. This year’s event includes live music and dancing with Tony LaStella and his band. Cost is $65 per person. Depending on the size of your group, you may also purchase entire tables which seat up to ten. VIP tables are also available.
