“First and foremost, I want to wish Scott and his family all the best. And, I want to thank him for his strong and articulate leadership on behalf of the Boeing Company. Throughout our working relationship, Scott stressed the Boeing Company’s goal of making an unparalleled product that exceeded its customers’ expectations. He knew well the hyper-competitive environment within which the Boeing Company worked and always tried to educate policy makers as to this fact.
“Throughout my tenure in the state legislature to my position as Snohomish County Executive, I’ve enjoyed a strong, positive working relationship with the Boeing Company and specifically with each Boeing Commercial Airplanes president for the past 13 years. I look forward to working with Jim Albaugh, the new Boeing Commercial Airplanes president, to ensure that Snohomish County and Washington state remain the most competitive region in the country for aerospace production.
