Snohomish County PUD received important news today as the Dept. of Energy awarded $15.8 million in stimulus funds to the utility for a smart grid upgrade. The upgraded system will allow easier integration of green energy, better power outage management and a range of customer-friendly electricity services in the future.  A press release is attached for your consideration.
