Senator Murray to Examine the Cost of Being Sick: H1N1 and Paid Sick Days

Today, U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), a senior member of the Senate Health Committee, will attend a Senate hearing examining the issue of H1N1 being spread by workers who can’t afford to miss work when they are sick.
 
Senator Murray will be giving an opening statement and questioning witnesses on policy changes that can be made to help workers and businesses, and prevent the spread of H1N1.
