Six Thoroughbreds seized by Snohomish County Animal Control Services on September 9, 2009, for investigation of animal cruelty have been rehabilitated and are now ready for adoption.

On Saturday, May 15 from 10:00am to 4:00pm, the public, horse enthusiasts, equine rescue organizations and the 4-H community are invited to view the horses at the Evergreen State Fair Equestrian Park – Barn 106 in Monroe.  Adoption applications will be available on-site.

All adoptions are subject to a pre-inspection conducted by Snohomish County Animal Control Services.  No horses will be released prior to an on-site inspection.
