The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Anthony Shyanne Jones, and asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call our tip line at 425-388-3845.
 
Jones has a felony escape warrant for his arrest out of the U.S. Marshal’s Office and is believed to be staying in the Sultan area, where he grew up. It’s also possible that he’s armed. He was originally convicted of a felony weapons violation associated with the burglary of a Monroe business in 2007. Because the burglary involved the theft of a large amount of weapons the case was handled at the federal level instead of locally.
 
Sultan deputies served a warrant last week at an apartment complex in Sultan where Jones was rumored to be staying. However, he wasn’t there when they arrived.
 
Jones is 26-years-old. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 235 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He has a large, distinctive tattoo on his neck of an American Indian sitting on a horse (see photo).
