Snohomish Food Bank Needs Volunteers for Weekly Positions

The Snohomish Community Food Bank is in need of ten new volunteers who can devote their time to a specific job every week. Six positions are for Tuesday afternoon/evening as a Client Aide from 2:30 until 7:00pm. This job entails assistance to the people who come here for their weekly groceries. The volunteer must be helpful, reliable cheerful and strong in mind and body.

 

Drivers for a weekly grocery store run are needed. Requirements are a valid Washington State license with a clean record, the ability to pick-up approximately 40 pounds and giving 2 - 3 hours for each run/day.

 

A volunteer who is good at administrative work, as in filing, answering phones and organizing archival material would be appreciated, too. This position can be filled on any one day, Monday through Thursday mornings.
