Next week will be the last week of work on the SR 9 widening project near Lundeen Parkway. On or around Nov. 1, crews will stop work on the project until next spring, when they will begin work on the west side of the highway. Before they wrap up work for the year, crews will restripe the roadway and shift traffic onto the newly finished east side of the highway. Next week’s work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if it rains.
Watch for lane closures and possible delays next week:
Tuesday, Oct. 26, from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. – Crews will use flaggers to direct you between Lundeen Parkway and Soper Hill Road while they remove the temporary concrete barrier.
Thursday, Oct. 28, from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. – Expect lane closures and flaggers directing you though the work zone while crews restripe the roadway and shift traffic to the east side of the highway.
