Everett Police investigates homicide

 The Everett Police Department Major Crimes Unit is investigating the apparent stabbing death of a 37 year old Everett man that occurred tonight around 5:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Pecks Drive.
 
Everett patrol officer were dispatched to Madison Elementary School for a report of a man that had been stabbed.  When officers arrived they found a man down in the west parking lot of the school, unconscious and without a pulse. He appeared to have multiple stab wounds. The officers immediately began CPR until Everett Fire personnel arrived and took over care of the victim. The victim was transported to Providence Hospital Pacific Campus where he was later pronounced dead.
 
Officers at the scene were advised by neighbors that they had heard the man yelling for help.  When they went outside they discovered the man in the parking lot stabbed in the torso.  None of the witnesses had any information regarding potential suspects and did not indicate they saw anything that would help investigators identify a suspect.
 
Investigators remained on scene for several hours collecting evidence and re-interviewing witnesses.  At this time no suspects have been identified nor has a motive been established.
