Charles Lee Johnson (aka Chuck Johnson) has a $50,000 warrant for his arrest for failure to register as a sex offender. Detectives are asking anyone who might know his whereabouts to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
 
Johnson is a Level 3 sex offender but he is not under any supervision. His failure to register warrant stems from the fact that he is homeless and therefore required to register with our office. Johnson has been missing for a few months. Detectives have checked all the places where he was known to stay or visit, but there is no sign of him.
 
Johnson is described as a 74-year-old white male with gray hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 182 lbs.
 
In 1993 he was convicted of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes stemming from an incident involving a 2-year-old girl whose mother allowed her to go berry picking with Johnson. He was convicted of indecent liberties in 1984.
 
After serving his time for the 1993 conviction, Johnson was admitted to the Special Commitment Center in 1998 where he stayed until his release in June 2010.
