Plan for ramp and lane closures on southbound I-5 and 128th Street SW

MONROE – Drivers should plan ahead for overnight ramp and lane closures at the I-5/128th Street SW interchange this week as crews work to add a second left-turn lane on the southbound off-ramp.
The following closures are scheduled:
· Monday, June 20 – Thursday, June 23 – Crews will close the southbound I-5 off-ramp to 128th Street SW from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for grinding and striping work. Drivers will follow a signed detour using southbound I-5, 164th Street SW and northbound I-5.
· Wednesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 23 – In addition to the off-ramp closure, crews will close the southbound I-5 on-ramp from 128th Street SW from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. for grinding and striping work. Crews will provide a signed detour using northbound I-5, Everett Mall Way, and the westbound SR 527 ramp to southbound I-5.
· Crews will also close up to two lanes of 128th Street SW near I-5 Monday through Thursday nights. Closures will start at 9 p.m. and all lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning.
