CLE ELUM – Are we there yet? The days of wondering how long it will take to reach Snoqualmie Pass are over. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is unveiling three electronic signs on Interstate 90 for real-time travel time between North Bend and Ellensburg. WSDOT invites the media to see one of the three electronic signs in action and learn about the kind of technology WSDOT is using to provide drivers with accurate travel times.
When: 11 a.m., Thursday, June 23
Where: The travel time sign near Cle Elum on westbound I-90 near milepost 87.
Directions from eastbound I-90:
· Take exit 93 (Elk Heights Road)
· Get back onto I-90 westbound
· Go six miles past exit 93 (Elk Heights Road)
· Look for WSDOT vehicles and carefully pull off westbound I-90 onto the shoulder
