Plan for weekend closure of Marine Drive NE near I-5 in Marysville

MARYSVILLE – Drivers headed to Marysville or the Tulalip Tribes Reservation this weekend should prepare for a closure of Marine Drive NE just west of Interstate 5.
Crews working for the Tulalip Tribes and the city of Everett will close all lanes of Marine Drive NE west of the I-5/Fourth Street interchange from 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, to noon Monday, Sept. 12, while they install part of a water pipeline. A signed detour will be provided. Drivers exiting at the interchange should expect delays and choose alternate routes if possible.
This work is part of the Tulalip Water Pipeline project. The city of Everett and the Tulalip Tribes are installing a water pipeline between Everett and the Tulalip Tribes Reservation. For more information, visit www.ci.everett.wa.us/default.aspx?ID=1986.
