MUKILTEO – Work to improve bicycle safety and access on SR 525 at Paine Field Blvd. kicks off with lane and ramp closures this week. Drivers should expect short delays and allow extra time for their trips.
Crews will close one lane of northbound and southbound SR 525 near Paine Field Blvd. Monday through Thursday nights, Sept. 19-22, for grinding work. The lanes will close at 8 p.m. each night and reopen by 4 a.m. the following morning.
The ramps from SR 525 to Paine Field Blvd. and from Paine Field Blvd. to SR 525 also will close Monday through Thursday nights, Sept. 19-22. The ramp from SR 525 to Paine Field Blvd. will close at 7 p.m. each night and reopen by 6 a.m. the following morning. The ramp from Paine Field Blvd. to SR 525 will close at 7 p.m. each night and reopen by 2 p.m. the following afternoon. Signed detours will be provided.
