The newly drawn 1st congressional district retains a portion of the old 1st congressional area and a significant amount of voters. As a businessman and public servant, John Koster has the right experience to represent the 1st Congressional District. Now a Snohomish County Councilman, John also served three terms as a State Representative in Olympia where he earned a reputation as a fiscal watchdog.
