At 6:30 AM this morning, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies and dive unit and Fire District 7 responded to a report that a witness had seen a vehicle go into Lost Lake and two people running away from the lake after the vehicle went into the water. The dive unit quickly found the first vehicle, which they confirmed had been reported stolen last July. During the investigation, the dive unit discovered a second vehicle submerged in the lake which had been stripped, but not reported stolen.

Both cars have been removed from the lake and investigators are contacting the owners of the second vehicle that was discovered.
