Marysville Police detectives are investigating a homicide that officers responded to earlier this morning.  Detectives are on-scene in the 9800 block of State Ave.

Just after 3:00 a.m. this morning officers were dispatched to the death of an 82 year old Marysville man.  Upon arriving on-scene officers quickly determined the death was likely a homicide and called for detectives.

We are in the very early stages of the investigation and no further details are available at this time.

I will be headed to the scene in a couple of minutes and will be located across the street in the Fred Meyer parking lot.  I will continue to release information as it becomes available.
