Blasting closures to continue on I-90 pending Forest Service approval

HYAK –Pending U.S. Forest Service (USFS) approval, crews will close I-90 in both directions from Gold Creek (milepost 56) to the Price Creek Sno-Park (milepost 61) Monday, Sept. 19, through Thursday, Sept. 22, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. each night.

HYAK – Due to high fire danger risk, the U.S. Forest Service advised WSDOT and contractor crews to halt rock blasting operations on I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass tonight, Sept. 13. Blasting may be cancelled the rest of the week.
