James Bond, Dark Knight, etc

I went to see The Dark Knight with my girlfriend Saturday night. Man, it was long. We caught the 10:50 showing after a long dinner at Applebees, and let me tell you, I was really sucking wind halfway through. Not to say that the film wasn't great - it was - but clocking in at over 150 minutes, I advise those who haven't seen it to shape up their endurance game before saddling up.

Speaking of movies (nice segue, huh?), I caught the trailer for the new Bond film - the awkwardly titled "Quantum of Solace" floating around the intrawebs earlier this week. Loved Daniel Craig in Casino Royale, and judging by the trailer, this one is shaping up pretty nicely for a November release as well.

First Six Minutes of Dark Knight

OtR is back from a hiatus, and we've got our hands on the first six minutes of the year's most anticipated movie, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight, starring the late Heath Ledger as The Joker. Early reviews peg the film as an instant classic.

Enjoy.

Bunny Rabbit Battles

Warning: Adult words in this clip.

Just felt like being inspired so I watched my favorite scene from the Curtis Hanson classic "8 Mile". It's been a while since an Eminem album, and he never acted again after rave reviews in his debut. Where's Marshall been lately?

Jay-Z and Robert Goulet: American Gangsters

Found this when I was looking for an American Gangster image for my other post. Too funny to skip over.

Scroll down for the real American Gangster post.

American Gangster Previews

So I was lucky enough to get a "DVD screener" of American Gangster the other day. Unbelievable flick. Goodfellas for a new generation.

Also got an "advance copy" of the American Gangster Jay-Z album, inspired by scenes from the film. Also good stuff.

Look for both of these items at the top of the charts next week.
