Outdoor Recreation in and around
Lake Stevens
The Lake! Lake Stevens encompasses 1040 acres with eight miles of shoreline. It is 146 feet deep at its deepest point. Area residents and visitors enjoy fishing, pleasure boating, water-skiing, sailing, sailboarding, canoeing and swimming.

The awe-inspiring views of the Cascade Mountains to the east are complemented by the well-manicured lakeside homes. Many people enjoy taking a spin around the lake just to look at the variety of waterfront residences, from the most modest to multi-million dollar estates.

Despite the large number of homes and busy water traffic, catfish, perch, bass, blue gill, rainbow and cutthroat trout are among the fish that can be found in Lake Stevens. It is also home to numerous waterfowl, including at least five bald eagles, as well as swans, geese, ducks, herons and loons.
