Elections are getting out of hand
Dear Editor,
I walked downtown last night and once again those signs are all over the place for one or more persons wanting your vote to elect or re-elect someone or another. The sad part of every election in this state is those signs are thrown into ditches or just left standing, littering the highways and streets of this city, county and state.
But there was something more that showed up on my walk that told me that elections are getting too out of hand. I noticed one persons signs saying re-elect me for congress had been placed and their opponent’s signs had been thrown into the brush, destroyed or just removed.
I am not sure why our politicians can’t just get along, they expect us to. Removing one candidates signs because you are not secure in your job, because you have totally destroyed this economy, is not dirty politics it is dirty humanity. At lease that is my opinion.
