DV (domestic violence) Assault 1, 11/21/10, 8400 block 20th Street SE
A 31-year-old male was arrested for DV Assault 1.  Officers were dispatched to a priority assault complaint and upon arrival the officers contacted a witness who was staying at the victim’s house.  The witness reported that the victim’s ex-boyfriend came to the door asking to speak with her. The witness let him in and as the suspect contacted the victim, he became verbally aggressive and began arguing with her.  The witness observed the suspect pull out a small handgun from his waistband and threaten to kill her with it.  The victim attempted to call the police but the suspect took the phone away from her.  The suspect followed her and began to physically assault her, at which point the witness intervened by pulling the suspect off of her.  The suspect fled the residence by vehicle.  The following day the suspect was located in Everett.  The male was placed under arrest and detectives interviewed the male regarding the incident.  Further investigation of the male revealed that he was in the country illegally from Mexico.  The male was transported to Snohomish County Jail and booked without further incident.  


Agency Assist, 11/24/2010, 12100 block 36th Street NE
An informational report was filed when officers assisted Lake Stevens Fire Department with a house fire. Upon arrival, officers observed the house fully engulfed by flames.  Officers photographed the scene until the Fire Marshal arrived to investigate the incident.  Through investigation it was determined that the fire was accidental and started when the homeowner attempted to thaw a frozen pipe using a heat gun.  An informational report was filed to be included with the Fire Marshal’s report.  


Making False Statement to an Officer/Warrant Service, 11/27/10, 1900 block 94th Drive SE
A 44-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding warrants and for making a false statement to an officer.  Officers were dispatched to a complaint of two occupied vehicles in the complainant’s driveway and she did not know who the occupants were.  Upon arrival, one subject jumped a fence and took off running.  Three other people were contacted near the vehicles and one male was found hiding in one of the two cars.  The male provided several false names and when his true identity was discovered, officers found the male had several warrants for his arrest.  The male was placed under arrest and transported to Marysville Jail.  


Robbery 1, 11/27/10, 1500 block South
Lake Stevens Road
A police report was filed when a 21-year-old victim reported that he was just robbed and the suspects fled in a vehicle.  The suspect’s vehicle was located and it was determined that the occupants in the vehicle were not involved in the incident and were released.  Officers obtained additional suspect information and the victim’s property has been recovered.  A report was filed and is under active investigation.
