Residential Burglary/Theft, 12/11/2010, 2500 block of 116th Ave. NE
A 26-year-old female victim reported being a victim of burglary after her residence was entered by an unknown person. The victim reported over $1,800 of property taken from the residence. Upon additional information the case will be reopened and assigned for investigation.
Violation of Domestic Violence (DV) Court Order, 12/13/2010, 1900 block of 94th Dr. SE
A 42-year-old male was arrested for violation of a DV court order. Officers responded on two separate occasions to a violation of a court order. The first time, officers responded after the male was reported being at the residence. Unfortunately, the male was gone on arrival and an area check was performed with no success. An hour later officers were dispatched again to the residence this time to a burglary complaint. Upon arrival it was learned that the male suspect had returned to the residence. The male again left the scene, but this time K-9 was called to assist and the male was located hiding in the backyard underneath an old tarp. The male stated that he did not know that the police were looking for him the first time. He returned to the house to retrieve some of his property and ran the second time because he was asked to leave. The male also stated he was let into the home by one of the female’s roommates, which was confirmed. The male was placed under arrest for a violation of the no contact order and was booked into Marysville Jail.
Possession of Drug, 12/14/10, 500 block of State Route 9
An 18-year-old male was arrested for possession of drugs. The male was contacted after witnesses reported there were occupants in a parked vehicle using illegal drugs. Upon arriving the officer stood next to the vehicle window and observed the male in the driver’s seat using illegal drugs, later tested and found to be heroin. The officer noted that no other occupants in the vehicle were observed using the drugs and the driver also stated that he was the only one who had used so far. The male was placed under arrest and later released from the scene with charges referred to the Snohomish County Prosecutors office.
Driving Under the Influence (DUI)/Resisting Arrest, 12/17/2010, 12700 block 20th St. NE
A 52-year-old male was arrested for DUI and resisting arrest. Officers were dispatched with a plate and vehicle description for a possible DUI. The vehicle was located and officers observed the vehicle almost running into several parked vehicles. A traffic stop was preformed and the officer observed an odor of intoxicants coming from the driver. The male stated that he was unable to perform a field sobriety test due to medical problems. When the male was advised he was under arrest he began resisting arrest. The officer was able to maintain control and the male was transported to the Marysville Jail where he was processed and booked into jail.
