The police department responded to 655 incidents in the week of June 5 through June 11, 2011. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:

Assault 2 Domestic Violence (DV), 06/05/11, 500 block of 83rd Ave. SE
A 24-year-old female was arrested for Assault 2 DV. After she arrived at her parent’s residence and began to hit things with a baseball bat. She then attacked and hit her father with the bat causing minor injuries. She fled the scene on foot prior to the police being called. K-9 was called to assist and after a short track, the female suspect was located. She was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.


Theft, Resisting Arrest, Warrant Service and Assault 4°, 06/08/11, 700 block of SR 9
Two 15-year-old males were arrested for theft, resisting arrest, warrant service and assault 4° after they were caught stealing beer by the loss prevention officer. One male took off on foot but was quickly located and actively resisted arrest. The male was booked into Denney Youth Center on an outstanding warrant, theft and resisting. The other male on scene began to spit on the loss prevention officer and also resisted arrest by the officer. Both males were booked into Denney Youth Center.


Possession of Heroin/Warrant Service, 06/11/11, 9300 block 16th Street SE
A 23-year-old male was arrested for possession of heroin/warrant service after being arrested during a traffic stop. There was also a 43-year-old male on scene that fled on foot. Both males were known to have multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants. An extensive search for the male was performed without success. During the search the officers discovered five grams of heroin on the 23-year-old male’s person. He was booked into Snohomish County Jail.


Stolen Motor Vehicle Pursuit, 06/11/11, State Route 204/State Route 2
An off duty officer noticed the suspicious pickup in front of him. Officers responded and attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit continues across the trestle where the fleeing vehicle collided with the rear of another vehicle. The non injury collision was investigated by Washington State Patrol. The pursuit was terminated in Everett after the fleeing vehicle became increasingly reckless.
