Malicious Mischief Domestic Violence (DV), 01/29/12, 1700 block of 88th Dr. SE
A 22-year-old male was arrested for Malicious Mischief DV. The male was upset about his 25-year-old ex-girlfriend being in a new relationship. He showed his displeasure by breaking her bedroom window, throwing things and punching the front door. The male fled the scene prior to police arriving. A search was conducted with no results. Charges are being sent to the Prosecutor.
Possession of Marijuana, 01/30/12,
10400 block of Vernon Rd.
A 19-year-old male was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. An officer was behind the male’s vehicle when he observed the driver blow smoke out of the driver’s side window. The smoke appeared to be marijuana smoke. The officer performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and asked the male about the smoke. The suspect declined to answer questions and to a search of the vehicle. The male later disclosed that he had a “joint” under the driver’s seat and that he was advised by his friends not to say or sign anything. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant. Charges will be referred once the search warrant is complete.
Possession of Marijuana, 01/31/12,
2400 block of Callow Rd.
A 27-year-old male was contacted by officers for an outstanding warrant. When the door to a residence was opened the odor of marijuana was very strong. Officers inquired about the odor, and the homeowner gave consent to search. Two people in the residence claimed to have medical cards which entitled them to 30 plants. Officers located 150 plants, and 120 plants were seized. Charges will be forwarded to the Snohomish County Prosecutor.
Trespass, 02/04/12, 1400 block of 77th Dr. SE
A 22-year-old male was contacted after he was located with his girlfriend inside a new construction home. The male told officers he worked for the homeowner and he had the key to the residence and was there to check on the residence. Officers were unable to contact the construction company or its representatives due to the late hour. The case is under investigation.
Vehicle Theft, 02/04/12, 10000 block of N. Davies Rd.
A 53-year-old male reported his vehicle was stolen out of his detached garage. His vehicle was later located, stuck in the mud, near Sunnyside. A tow truck was requested to retrieve the vehicle. The owner was able to provide suspect information. This case is under investigation.
