The police department responded to 516 incidents in the week of April 1, 2012 through §mary of some of the more notable contacts:


Driving Under the Influence (DUI),     04/03/12, 10000 block of  S. Lake Stevens
A 44-year-old male was arrested for DUI.  A Snohomish County Deputy found a vehicle in a ditch and advised officers that the driver may be impaired. An officer responded and found the male to be intoxicated. The vehicle was impounded, and the driver was arrested for DUI and transported to Providence Medical.


Hit and Run Collision/Driving While                      License Suspended (DWLS),      04/03/12, SR 9 NE/SR 92
A 57-year-old male was arrested for Hit and Run and DWLS. Officers responded to a report of a Hit and Run Collision. A female reported that her vehicle had been hit by a male in another vehicle. Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle, and the male was found to be DWLS.  The male was positively identified by the female, and he was booked into Marysville Jail.


     Residential Burglary, 04/05/12,     10000 block of Sandy Beach Dr.
A 38-year-old male was arrested for Residential Burglary. Officers were dispatched to a residence where there was a report of an unknown male in the house while the homeowners were out of town.  Upon arrival, officers contacted the male and positively identified him.  It was learned that he had slipped the lock on the back garage door and was attempting to pry open the door into the house. The male was arrested and booked into Snohomish County Jail.


      Driving While License Suspended                          (DWLS)/Warrant Service, 04/07/12,      99th Ave. NE
A 27-year-old female was arrested for DWLS, and a 42-year-old female was arrested on Warrants.  During a traffic stop it was learned that the 27-year-old female driver was DWLS.  All of the passengers in the vehicle were also suspended. In addition, several persons arrived to take possession of the car, and they were also found to be suspended. A cab was called, and the vehicle was towed. The 42-year-old female left the scene to walk home, and it was learned that she had outstanding felony warrants. The female was located and booked into Snohomish County Jail.


Theft/Vehicle Prowl, 04/07/12,  8300 block of 4th St. NE
Officers responded to several Vehicle Prowls and Thefts that occurred sometime during the previous evening. The cases are currently under investigation.
