Vehicle Recovery, 05/21/12, 9500 blk of 6th St SE
Officers were dispatched to a call regarding a motorcycle that a 33 year-old male had recently purchased. The male stated that he suspected the motorcycle was stolen. The officer ran the information on the motorcycle through the national database and determined it was stolen out of Fife. The case was forwarded to the Fife PD for follow up.
Disturbance, 05/22/12, 1700 blk of Mitchell Rd
Two males under the influence were contacted after officers were dispatched to a loud party. One of the males decided to flee by attempting to swim across the lake at the city beach. The male got a few hundred yards out and decided it was best to come back to shore. Due to the males being intoxicated, aid was asked to assist to make sure the men were fit to be released. The men were transported back to where they were staying, and the scene was cleared without further incident.
Robbery 1°/Attempting to Eluding an Officer/ Trespassing/Warrant, 05/23/12, 900 blk of Frontage Rd
A 36 year-old male was arrested for Robbery, Attempting to Elude, Trespassing and a Warrant. Officers were dispatched to a silent alarm call at a bank. It was reported that a male robbed a bank at gun point and fled the scene in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle driving, but the male attempted to elude the officers. Officers temporarily lost sight of the vehicle, but the vehicle was located unoccupied nearby. K-9 was asked to assist. The dog was successful at locating the male, who was running from a building. The vehicle was impounded as evidence, and the male was transported the police station for questioning. The male was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
Theft/ Obstructing/Court Order Violation, 05/24/12, 9600 blk of Market PL
A 26 year-old female was arrested for Theft, Obstructing and a Court Order Violation. The female was observed attempting to steal a pair of shoes. When officers made contact with the female she provided the officers with a wrong name. The officers were able to identify the female, and it was discovered that she was in violation of a court order. The female was booked into the Maryville Jail.
VUCSA/Warrant, 05/25/12, 95th Ave SE
A 28-year-old male was arrested for a Drug Violation and a Warrant Service. The male was contacted for a driving violation. A computer search was performed, and it was discovered that the male had an outstanding warrant. The male was placed under arrest, and a search of his person was performed. A Narcotics’ K-9 was asked to assist because the officer was able to see a digital scale and white powder in the vehicle. The K-9 alerted the officer to narcotics, and the male gave consent to search the vehicle. The officers located methamphetamine, heroin and two digital scales. The male was transported and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
