Theft/Vehicle Prowl/Warrant, 07/14/12, 12000 block of 29th Pl. NE
A 27-year-old male was arrested for Vehicle Prowl and a warrant. An officer was dispatched to a call in which the reporting party stated she saw an unknown male going through a neighbor’s vehicle. The officer made contact with the male while he was attempting to jump a fence. The male was believed to have entered several vehicles and items from those vehicles were found in his possession. The items were returned to the owners and the male was booked into the Marysville Jail.
Theft, 07/15/12, 8800
block of 8th St. SE
A 50-year-old male reported that his 22-year-old daughter was in possession of his firearm and did not have permission to have it. Upon contact, his daughter stated she gave it to one of her male friends. The reporting party was aware of this and he stated the male refused to give it back because his daughter owed him money. The firearm was listed as stolen and the case is currently under investigation.
Burglary/Malicious Mischief, 07/16/12, 2700 block of N. Machias Rd.
An officer was dispatched to a burglary call. Upon arrival the officer discovered several pieces of property were damaged while the suspects were attempting to gain access inside the business. The suspect took several items but appeared to be in the store for only minutes. A description of the suspect was taken and the case is currently under investigation.
Robbery, 07/18/12, 10100 block of Chapel Hill Rd.
An 18-year-old male was arrested for Robbery. The male took a bicycle from a 13- year-old male. Officers located the male on the bicycle. The bicycle was returned to the victim and the male was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center.
Burglary, 07/19/12,
900 block of 83rd Ave. SE
An 83-year-old male reported he interrupted a residential burglary. The victim provided a description of the intruder. Officers set up containment but the search was unsuccessful. Case is currently under investigation.
Driving under the Influence (DUI)/Hit and Run /Driving While License Suspended 3° (DWLS 3°), 07/20/12 Lundeen Parkway/Lake Dr.
A 33-year-old male was arrested for DUI, Hit and Run and DWLS 3°.The male crashed his vehicle into the roundabout, damaging his vehicle and property. The male attempted to flee when the officer began pulling in behind him. The male appeared to be under the influence. He was processed for DUI, drugs, suspended 3° and hit and run. The male was released from the scene.
