The police department responded to 604 incidents in the week of March 03, 2013 through March 09, 2013. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:
a firearm from his waistband and pointed it at the Officer. This resulted in the male being tased. The male dropped his firearm which was later determined to be an airsoft pistol. The male began fighting with officers while they were attempting
to place him under arrest. The male was transported to the hospital to ensure he was fit for booking. At the hospital the male again attempted to fight with the officer and was combative with hospital staff. The male was cleared for booking and was transported to the Snohomish County Jail where he continued
his combative behavior.
and playing around on the school bus when one told the other he had a gun in his backpack. The bus driver overheard the conversation and called 911. Officer arrived within minutes and detained the male for safety reasons. The male informed officers he was only joking when he made the comment. A search for the firearm was conducted. No firearm was located. The males were released to their guardian.

During transport the female decided that she would attempt to dispose of her illegal drugs into the back of the patrol car which the officer discovered prior departing the jail. While returning to the city he was contacted by the jail staff after additional narcotics had been located in her personal items. This resulted in additional drug charges for the suspect.
multiple gunshots. A vehicle was seen leaving the area after the shots had been fired. An extensive area check was conducted, with no results. The officer located three spent shell casings in the roadway at 9100 1st Pl. NE. The casings were taken for testing and evidence. At this time, no victim(s) or property damage
Assault Domestic Violence (DV), 03/03/13, 11600 block of 28th St. NE
A 37-year-old male was booked for Assault 4 DV. Officers were dispatched when a juvenile reported their stepdad assaulted their 36-year-old mother. It was also reported that the victim attempted to contact the police herself but the suspect had taken her phone. Both parties were interviewed resulting in the male being placed under arrest and booked into Marysville Jail.
Home Invasion, 03/04/13, 400 block of 102nd Dr. SE
Two unknown males kicked in the front door of the residence and stole some electronics. During the process, three residents were assaulted. A description of the suspects and their vehicle was provided and a search of the area was conducted. The case is currently under investigation.
Assault 1°/ Resisting Arrest/Theft, 03/04/13, 700 block of SR 9 NE
A 35-year-old male was arrested for Assault 1°, Resisting Arrest and Theft of Services. The male and a 28-year-old female took a cab to the location and then proceeded to exit the cab without paying. As officers arrived the male fled on foot and the female was detained. While the officer was in pursuit the male suspect tripped and as he was falling, removeda firearm from his waistband and pointed it at the Officer. This resulted in the male being tased. Assault Weapon, 03/07/13, 10300 block of 20th St. SE
10 and 8-year-old brothers were arguingand playing around on the school bus when one told the other he had a gun in his backpack. The bus driver overheard the conversation and called 911. Arson 2°, 03/08/13, Lundeen Park
A City of Lake Stevens Public Works employee reported someone had hung something on the roll up doors of the main building and lit it on fire. There was no damage to the building. The Fire Marshall responded to the scene to investigate. The case is currently under investigation.
Obstructing/Possession of Illegal Narcotics/Warrants, 03/08/13, 12000 block of 22nd St. NE
A 54-year-old female was arrested for Obstructing, Possession of Illegal Narcotics and Warrants. The female was contacted after she was involved in a one vehicle accident. She had warrants and did not want to provide the officer her name. After providing several false names, Officers were able to identify her. She was placed under arrest for obstructingand warrants services.
