Everett, WA-- Village Theatre Pied Piper presents the well-loved Charlotte’s Web by the New York-based TheatreworksUSA on Saturday, December 12 at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

Charlotte’s Web is an inspiring tale of friendship, as an affectionate pig named Wilber befriends an ingenious spider named Charlotte. In this story of selfless love, bravery, and the cycle of life, audiences are reminded of the wonder and the miracles often found in the simplest of things.

The TheatreworksUSA production of Charlotte’s Web began its national tour in the fall of 1993, providing young audiences with one of their first tastes of the performing arts. Director Rob Barron rehearsed the six member cast and the incidental music score was written by award-winning composer Jeffrey Lunden. Theater critic Nanciann Cherry of The Blade (Toledo, OH) raved, “The uniformly excellent cast was spellbinding” and described the actors as “exuberant” and “outstanding.”

In addition to the public performances, school matinee performances of Charlotte’s Web will also take place at the Everett Performing Arts Center (December 10 & 11, 10:00AM and Noon). School performances may be arranged by calling Village Theatre’s Youth Education office at (425) 257-6343.
This 60-minute musical is recommended for audiences in grades K-5 and their families. For more information or to arrange an interview, please contact Michelle Sanders at (425) 392-1942 x124 or atmsanders@villagetheatre.org.
