The Comcast Community Ice Rink will be participating this year in the City of Everett’s “Colors of Freedom” Fourth of July celebrations.  The Global Spectrum managed, Comcast Community Ice Rink, has again partnered with the City of Everett to offer fun, affordable, family-friendly events to help draw visitors and encourage them to spend their Fourth of July within downtown Everett.

The City of Everett’s “Colors of Freedom” parade will officially kick-off at 1:00 pm but, visitors are welcome to head over to the Comcast Community Ice Rink before and/or after the parade to take advantage of discounted public skating rates being offered all day.  The “Fire & Ice” discounted public skating rates will start at 10:00 am and run all the way through the evening until 7:30 pm.  A family of four will be able to partake in public skating, perhaps for their first time, for only $16.

For those that do choose to spend their afternoon on the Fourth watching the city’s parade, be sure to keep an eye out for members from the Everett Figure Skating Club, Global Spectrum staff at the Comcast Community Ice Rink, and ‘Lincoln’ the Everett Silvertips mascot, who will be participating in the parade handing out a variety of ‘goodies’ in addition to public skating passes for the ice rink.
