Bring a strong appetite, your favorite dancing shoes and a taste for Broadway Music to the second annual Everett Philharmonic Spring Fling on Saturday April 16th from 5:30-9:30 PM. The program highlights music from popular Broadway hits, and includes a full gourmet dinner and live music for dancing the night away. This inspired orchestra has thrilled audiences throughout their first season with an unprecedented excitement and this event will be no exception.
The evening will begin with a champagne reception and no host bar accompanied by the sweet sounds of jazz combo, The Curators. An Everett Philharmonic mini concert will follow, featuring the vocal vivacity of Gail Neil, a renowned soprano who has performed recitals and oratorios and with symphony, opera and choral companies throughout the west coast. This will be a lively evening extravaganza! Music director Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs has programmed an appealing array of tunes including selections from Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, A Little Night Music and more. An encore of Shall We Dance will be performed to provide the perfect invitation to the dance floor as The Curators reconvene and kick up the energy level for your dancing pleasure.
Gourmet dinner choices include: Roasted Pork Tenderloin-with fruit chutney, served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Bistro Vegetables; Chicken Parmesan-served with angel hair pasta and grilled bistro vegetables; or Vegetarian Butternut Ravioli-with citrus beurre blanc sauce served with julienned spring vegetables. All dinners include salad, artisan bread, dessert, wine and coffee. Yummm! The Centerplate Chef has outdone himself again!
Enjoy a fun-filled evening while supporting your Everett Philharmonic. Tickets are affordably priced at $60 each ($70 each after April 8th)—including concert, dinner and dancing! Last year this event SOLD OUT, so get your tickets early.
