LSHS CROSS COUNTRY STATS
The Lake Stevens Cross Country teams hosted Snohomish, Mariner, and Lynnwood on Thursday Sept. 18. Girls placed second to a strong Snohomish team, and the boys raced to a near perfect score of 16.
• Lake Stevens 16, Snohomish 40, Mariner 94, Lynnwood 100; Juan Castillo 16:46; Scott Larson 16:46; Drew Larson 16:48; Johnny Bywater 16:49; Brandon Martz 16:53.

• Snohomish 25, Lake Stevens 32, Lynnwood 79, Mariner 103; Lacey Wagner 19:06; Samantha Minor 19:34; Cia Bywater 20:15; Angelique Goldor 21:23; Jenny Hartwell 23:02.
At South Whidbey, the boys placed 9th in the Division I race and the girls, racing without Cia Bywater and Jenny Hartwell, had a tough day placing 17th.

“We are not deep enough to race against ranked teams with out our top five healthy.”
