Navy Child Development Center gets extension

Children of military families will wield shovels tomorrow at a groundbreaking ceremony for an extension of the Naval Station Everett Child Development Center (CDC) held at 2:30 p.m. on the base.
This is the first project in the Northwest to be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The initiative supports project funding for Department of Defense programs such as Energy Conservation Investment; Military Construction (MILCON); Facilities, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM); and Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation (RDT&E).
