Everett, Wash. –- USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) will host the Moneywise in the Military seminar for hundreds of Sailors and their families on March 16. Guest speakers will feature the Host of the PBS Series Moneywise and author of “Whose Afraid to be a Millionaire,” Kelvin Boston; Young America’s Financial Coach, Peter Bielagus; and Director of the Better Business Bureau Military Line, Holly Petraeus.

Event:  The Moneywise in the Military seminar has been held on other military installations nation-wide. The event is supported by Fleet and Family Readiness, which offers similar programs, services, and facilities to improve the overall quality of life for Sailors and their families.

When: Tuesday, March 16, program from 9-11 a.m.

Location: Aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) at Naval Station Everett

Purpose: Finance professionals help military members gain a better understanding of financial affairs including topics such as credit, bankruptcy, financial planning, saving and investing, home ownership, and retirement.
