G.F. man arrested on molestation and rape
BY PAM STEVENS | EDITOR On Tuesday, August 26, Hal Avery Bradley, a long-time Granite Falls resident, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on two counts of Rape of a Child in the first degree and two counts of Child Molestation in the first degree. “He volunteered and surrendered himself at the jail,” Granite Falls Police Chief Tony Domish said.
Bradley, who once managed the Mountain View Inn off of Mountain Loop Highway and is also a licensed Private Investigator with a business in Granite Falls, turned himself in after a two-week investigation by the Granite Falls Police Department.
“The investigation was initiated by Child Protective Services,” Domish said.
There are currently two victims in the case.
“I don’t have any reason to believe there are any other victims,” Domish said. “We’ve turned our investigation over to Prosecutors.”
According to the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office, Bradley had not been formally charged at the time the Journal went to press. The Journal will follow-up on this story after Bradley is charged.
