New building and location for Pharm-A-Save

Drive-thru makes shopping more convenient
for customers
BY CHUCK TUCK | JOURNAL REPORTER The new Granite Falls Pharm-A-Save opened its doors on Sept. 7 right around the corner from its original location on North Granite where it had been for many years.

The pharmacy is now conveniently located at 207 Stanley which is next to the post office, and does have some available parking.

Owner and manager Debbie Crocker said that the staff has been very excited about the new store.

“Oh, we love it over here, and we are enjoying it,” she said.
The new pharmacy offers a tremendous amount of natural lighting making customers feel comfortable as they shop or wait for their prescriptions.

“We like the light, and the way we can view the customers easier,” Crocker said.

She also added that the staff is able to work more proficiently, and help customers more easily.

“We can get them in and out of here more efficiently,” Crocker said of their customers.

An added benefit to this store, which the old store did not have, is its drive-up window making things that much more convenient for the customers.

“The people like the drive-thru,” Crocker said. “It’s actually doing quite well. It’s been a pretty good addition to the store.”

Aside from the ample natural lighting that one notices when they first walk into the store, you get a sense of where things are located very quickly with a simple glance around.

Place your order here, pick-up over there, and herbal and nutritional supplements there.

“We’re going to be offering more nutritional and supplemental type products,” Crocker said.

She also commented that even though the store is a little bit smaller, they were still going to do their best to carry as many products as possible that people want to see.

“We are a community store,” she said.
As for feedback from customers, things have been good.

“We’ve been getting a pretty good response,” Crocker stated.

The official grand opening is only weeks away, and the new Pharm-A-Save staff is looking forward to a fun filled day with drinks and food.
“We’re going to be having our grand opening on Oct. 4,” Crocker said. “We’re going to have some food and a cake made in the exact replica of the building, and prizes. We’re going to have a good time.”
