Red Apple in G.F. planning
major expansion

BY PAM STEVENS | EDITOR Since 1993, the Red Apple grocery store in Granite Falls has been a fixture in the community and the only full-service grocery store in town. Now the 16,000 square foot store has announced that they will add an additional 10,000 square feet to its existing space to create an even better shopping experience for its customers and offering them a bigger selection and more value.

“We have been trying to put together plans to grow our business over the past three years,” Mike Trask, owner of the Granite Falls Red Apple said. “With the pharmacy moving, we are now able to quickly expand.”
Pharm-A-Save, who had been leasing the adjacent space, built their own site, which made way for Red Apple to be able to expand.

“We appreciate our current landlord, Frontier Investment Management Company, reinvesting in the Granite Falls community, especially during these tough economic times,” Trask said.

The Red Apple in Granite Falls offers a complete line of grocery, meat, produce, deli, bakery and floral items. It is located at 115 North Granite Avenue and is open seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
