World class juvenile ballroom dancers hosting performance
Everett’s Rickie Taylor and Lake Stevens’ own Erik Linder have danced on national television including the Oprah Winfrey Show. They will be showing off their dance techniques and routines this weekend in Everett to earn money for a competition in England. Erik Linder and Rickie Taylor, kid Ballroom Dancers, that were featured in the local news as well as some TV shows last year as they were heading to Nationals in Baltimore have been asked to represent Team USA in a World Championship Juvenile Team Match taking place this April in Blackpool England. This is an incredible opportunity for this young local couple to meet kid dancers from around the world and to compete at this high world class level. Linder hails from Lake Stevens and Taylor is from Everett. They both are the current National Champions for their division.
The fundraiser show will feature the kids dancing ballroom dances and Latin dances in a family and kid friendly setting. There are two shows on Sunday, March 22 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
There will also be a world class professional dance couple Yegor Novikov and Ekaterina Zakharoff dancing at the show as well as National Youth Finalist youth couple Paul Stovall and Maxine Taylor.
Admission to the show is free. Any funds raised will be by donation only.
The show will be held at Oly’s at the Dorothy Jayne Studio located at 2931 Bond Street in Everett.
