Lake Stevens businesses will be showcased by Chamber

BY PAM STEVENS | EDITOR

This is your opportunity to come and see what Lake Stevens businesses have to offer and get to know the folks who run them personally.

The Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 4th Annual Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce Showcase Lake Stevens on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year’s event will be held at a new venue, Cavelero Mid-High School, 8220 24th Street SE in Everett, just off of Hewitt Ave. and will be even bigger and better than last year.

“Showcase Lake Stevens enables our residents to see what services are available in our community. It is always better to shop locally than having to make a trip across the trestle,” Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce President Randy Celori said. “ Showcase L.S. also provides a great opportunity for our community members, businesses and local government service providers to interact.  Plus with entertainment and prizes, the event is fun for everyone.”

There will be some fun activities and exciting giveaways throughout the day including a show by Magician Jeff Evans, sponsored by Hometown Values Magazine.

There will also be several free raffles with prizes such as a Tom Tom Portable GPS Navigation unit, an iPod Touch, a 9-inch digital LCD picture frame and the grand prize is a 42 inch LCD flat screen high Definition TV.

No retail sales are allowed and the fair is intended to expose the community to local businesses in a fun, low-key atmosphere.
“The Chamber is the voice of business in our community and a great business resource for our residents and visitors to find the local services available to them,” Celori said.

For more information or if you are interested in renting a booth please visit the Chamber’s website at www.lschamber.org or contact the Chamber office at 425-334-0433.
