Skyline Elementary to hold benefit auction for teacher
JOURNAL STAFF The students and staff at Skyline Elementary School are holding a Benefit Dessert and Auction for their Physical Education teacher Brad Hodge who was severely injured in a car accident last October. Hodge was hit by a dump truck while traveling to work on Highway 92 and was left without a leg. He is now confined to a wheelchair.
Auction proceeds will go to help Hodge with medical expenses and fitting his house for wheelchair access. The auction will be held at Cavelero Mid-High School on Thursday, April 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Admission will be $3 per adult and $1 per child.
Students from Skyline have made themed baskets to be auctioned off live. There will also be various services and goods auctioned off during the silent auction.
If you wish to make a monetary donation, you may do so at any Wells Fargo Bank under the account name “Friends of Brad Hodge”. If you have a service or item to donate to the auction please contact Kathy Sierakowska or Colleen Aldrich at 425-335-1520.
