Margaritaville a huge success BY PAM STEVENS | EDITOR

The Lake Stevens/Granite Falls Rotary Club entertained a crowd of over 200 people at their first annual Margaritaville last weekend.

This family– friendly event raised over $2,000 for local and international projects.

Families were entertained by the Revolvers, who sang Jimmy Buffet songs, while they enjoyed a barbeque feast.

Kids got to take a swing at the piñata, play miniature golf and were entertained by the Duck, the Rotary’s mascot.

The event was chaired by Rotarien J.D. Hemmert and sponsored by Allstate Insurance and North County Bank.

Other donations were provided by Chateau Ste. Michelle, Scuttlebutt Brewery, Crown Distributors, Granite Construction, Honey Bucket, the Scouts, UTC group for providing the park, the Revolvers and the Senior Center and Family Center for use of their vans to shuttle people from the parking lot to the Concert in the Park.
