Granite Falls kids welcome home a hero

Sergeant Neil Hollo, a Granite Falls High School 2004 graduate, returned home from Iraq after a year-long deployment.

Sgt. Hollo has been corresponding with fourth grade students at Mountain Way Elementary and was greeted with a group hug when he walked into the classroom unannounced.

Hollo is in the Army Reserves with the 341st Engineering Company in the 54th Engineering Battalion based in Everett.
