Everett Police arrested a 24-year-old Lake Stevens man in Everett on Sunday morning.
The man is suspected of robbing two adult stores in Everett. One was the Lover’s Store on Broadway and the other was The Love Zone on Evergreen Way. Both stores were hit on Thursday last week.

After seeing video footage on KING-5 news, the man’s mother walked into a Marysville police station and informed them that she knew the man on the video.
The information was key to finding the suspect.
Police showed pictures of the suspect, through a photomontage, to the witnesses of both robberies and they were able to identify the suspect.

The man has since admitted to being involved in 17 other robberies in King and Snohomish counties. Most of those robberies were at tanning salons, teriyaki restaurants and adult stores.

The suspect entered the stores brandishing a gun, later found out to be fake, and asked for money.
The man moved in with his girlfriend in Lake Stevens a few weeks ago, the same time the robberies started to occur.

He is expected to be booked into the Snohomish County Jail on two counts of felony robbery while police continue to investigate.
