Girl Scout Troop 40830 is hosting a Locks of Love event this Saturday, May 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mount Pilchuck Elementary School.
Anyone who would like to donate their hair can come to the event and get their hair cut at no charge. Hair must be at least 10 inches long and cannot be bleached. Color treated hair is acceptable. Locks of Love meets a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics.
The prostheses provides help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers. For more information regarding this event please contact Cassandra White at 425-377-1395.
