The Doty family of Lake Stevens, fished the Everett Coho derby the weekend of Sept. 18.

Trevor, 8, who loves the outdoors and is an avid fisherman, took fifth place in the Coho Derby kids division.
He landed a 6.75 pound Coho Salmon on a Silver Horde Green Spatter Back Ace HI-FLY. 

Doty also had an opportunity to travel to Dutch Harbor, Alaska for a week where he caught the largest Coho he has ever caught, weighing just over 10 pounds.
