The Lake Stevens Family Center will sponsor the annual “Family Safe Downtown Halloween” on Sunday, Oct. 31.

The event will begin with a costume parade leaving from the Boys & Girls Club on Main Street at 5 p.m. with line-up beginning at 4:45 p.m.

After the parade, children and families can enjoy trick-or-treating at downtown businesses, having a free picture taken at Jay’s Market, playing carnival games at the Community Center with a digital costume contest by Tiger’s Black Belt, and visiting the “Spook House” for older children and youth.

To help prepare for the event, the Family Center seeks donations of new or gently used costumes, small prizes for the carnival, candy, and cash donations.

Volunteers are also welcome for all aspects of the event.
This event is brought to you by the Lake Stevens Family Center, who provides community resources and support to our local families.

This is just one of the ways we can help keep crime rate down by providing events for the youth, by keeping small kids off dark roads and to know their eating safe candy without knocking at strangers doors.
Help us build a strong, positive community and join us at the Family Safe Downtown Halloween. To reach the Family Center please call 425-397-7433.
